The University’s academic calendar identifies important dates and deadlines by which students must add, drop, or withdraw from classes. Visit the Registrar’s website for the full UConn academic calendar.
Before students enroll in classes, we recommend that they schedule an appointment with their academic advisor. Not sure who your advisor is? View the CLAS advising directory.
Course Add/Drop Deadlines and Requirements
First Two Weeks of Classes
- Students may add and drop courses using the Student Administration System until the 10th day of class.

Students who wish to withdraw from 2 or more classes during the third and fourth weeks of the semester must complete an Enrollment Change Form for each course they wish to withdraw from. The Enrollment Change Form can be found in the eForms tile on your student home page in the Student Administration System. Corresponding “W” grades will be recorded.
