Make an Appointment

The CLAS Academic Services Center encourages students to schedule an appointment with an advisor to discuss their individual needs and receive personalized support. Students requiring a dean’s signature on a form should also make an appointment with the Center for assistance.

To schedule an appointment, please call 860-486-2822

Preparing for Your Appointment

If you are a current student seeking advising for a future semester, please reach out to your assigned advisor for guidance. If you are unable to connect with your advisor, please schedule an appointment with the CLAS Academic Services Center.

If you are a student on academic notice, or retained on a successful dismissal appeal, you must schedule an appointment with a success advisor in the Center. To learn more, visit the Academic Standing page

How to Schedule an Appointment

During the academic year, winter break, and summer, appointments can be scheduled by calling our office at 860-486-2822. The Center offers in-person, phone, and virtual appointments. Students who select a virtual appointment will receive a meeting invitation in their UConn email prior to the appointment. Please use the invitation link to join your meeting with your advisor.

Drop-In Appointments

Students are encouraged to schedule an appointment to discuss academic concerns during the academic year and summer sessions. While students may visit the Center without an appointment, an advisor’s availability cannot be guaranteed. If you would like to meet with an advisor in person, please call ahead to schedule an appointment.

Students who are on academic notice, or who have been retained or readmitted following dismissal, must meet with an academic success advisor in the CLAS Academic Services Center to review their academic standing.
